Who is eligible for this opportunity?
This opportunity is exclusively available for those in England who are not currently in work, as the government aims to grow the number of skilled ‘green professionals’ in the industry. Terms and condition apply.
How much will this cost me?
The cost to undertake Elmhurst’s qualification training and join the relevant accreditation schemes is £405.41 (Incl VAT). This is a significant reduction off the usual price of the Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA), and Retrofit Assessor, training and accreditation, which is typically charged at £2049.60 (Incl VAT).
How will Elmhurst deliver the training?
You will be pleased to know, that the training is delivered fully online. The DEA training will be delivered live by our expert course tutor. The training will last 3 Days and will run from 9:30 to 4:30 each day. The Retrofit Assessor training is an online course which will be made available to you once you have completed the DEA training. This training can be undertaken anytime within 20 days of getting access to the course.
How can I apply for this opportunity?
You will just need to book one of the upcoming ‘Government Funded – Domestic Energy Assessor (Live Online) & Retrofit Assessor Course‘ from Elmhurst’s Training Calendar. The date provided on the calendar will show when the DEA training will be delivered.
What happens after I have booked my place on a course?
Following receipt of a course booking, the training team will review your eligibility for the course and will contact you if there are any issues with this. If you meet the entry criteria, you will be sent an email which will provide a link and password to the online live DEA course.
What qualifications will I receive from this?
Following successful completion of the DEA course you will be awarded with City & Guilds Level 3 Certification for Domestic Energy Assessment. With this you will be eligible to join Elmhurst’s DEA accreditation scheme.
